Mary Woods School of Dance is a well established dance school based in Firswood Stretford, Manchester.

We have been running for over 50 years and pride ourselves on our technique, teaching and prices.

All teachers are qualified and DBS checked and we have a fully qualified paediatric/ first aider on site at all times.

We are members of the UKA (United Kingdom Alliance) and are fully insured.

 

Uniform is not essential to begin with as we want to ensure pupils are settled in before buying the uniform.

If it easier for you, you can buy it in stages too.

 

We believe that pupils benefit tremendously from wearing uniform in their classes, it gives them a sense of belonging to the class and also as a teacher we are able to see moments better when they are in the correct uniform

We are registered with the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teacher of Dancing and Kindred Arts (U.K.A) U.K.A are corporate members of the British Dance Council and their Awarding body is validated by the Council for Dance Education and Training.

 

Our Dance School provides:

 

Lessons for children age 3 years +

Stage work including show performances

Accredited grade examinations

Professional trainee & teacher certifications

Fun & friendly atmosphere

Lessons are each Saturday and cover a range of dance styles. Including Ballet Tap Freestyle and Contemporary in the aged 9 plus class
