Hi there, I am the principal of the dance school and I have been a qualified dance teacher for over 50 years.

I am a fully qualified first aider including pediatric first aid and my safeguarding training is fully up to date.

All of my staff are fully qualified dance teachers with up-to-date enhanced DBS checks.

Michelle Fradley

Hi I am Michelle is Mary Woods daughter and I have been a qualified dancing teacher for over 25 years, I have been teaching dance to pupils of all ages since being a teenager. I first started dancing at my mum's dance school the Mary Woods School of dance and I have since gone on to open Kats Dance Academy established since 2011

Fully qualified in all subjects and has the following additional qualifications :

Full enhanced DBS and updating barring service First Aid Trained in Emergency & Paediatrics Epilepsy Awareness and Management Chaperone Licence Safeguarding Level 3 lead

I teach across all subjects, including the regulated grades and all age groups including adults and also has experience in training dance teachers

Emily Mann

Hi, I'm Emily and I am a dance teacher and part of the management team at Mary Woods School of Dance. I have been dancing since the age of 7 at sister school ,

Kats Dance Academy, where I completed the trainee teacher programme and became fully qualified. I teach a range of styles to ages 3+ including adults and I specialise in contemporary and hip-hop/freestyle. I have am trained/qualified in the following: Paediatric first aid First aid at work Epilepsy and rescue medication Gastrostomies along with administering medications and feeds Catheters Moving and handling Safeguarding (designated safeguarding officer) I also have an enhanced DBS and a chaperone licence and Safeguarding Level 3 lead

Honey Jones

Hi my name is Honey, I’m one of the dance teachers at Mary Woods School of Dance. I began dancing at the sister school (Kat’s Dance Academy) in 2011, the day it was established and have loved it every day since. Over the 13 years that I have been dancing, I have progressed from the babies class all the way up to now being a qualified dance teacher and I couldn’t be more grateful for the support I have received over this time. I currently teach classes consisting of ages from 3 all the way up to adults classes and specialise particularly in tap and freestyle. I have a enhanced DBS and Paediatric first aid First aid at work . Safeguard Training Level 2

Halle Kerley

Hi, I’m Halle and I am a musical theatre trained dancer with experience in both amateur and professional productions. I have experience in several styles of dance including ballet, tap and jazz, graduating from Pendleton Sixth Form College and Emil Dale Academy.
